How we support case managers & solicitors
We understand that you have a busy life and aim to take the pressure off your caseload with a reliable, responsive service that’s easy to coordinate and built around your client’s needs. Here’s what you can expect:
You’ll always deal with the same experienced Client Coordinator for each of your clients —ensuring continuity, quicker answers, and smoother coordination across appointments, reports, and planning. The Client Coordinator will be in direct contact with your client’s Lead Physiotherapist.
Where possible we seek to provide appointments that fit in with your client’s schedule and often use and coordinate online diaries such as TeamUp to make life as easy as possible for you and most importantly your client.
We welcome referrals by phone or email, saving you the hassle of completing long referral forms. We pride ourselves on our efficient response to all referrals and will provide timely costings and availability for all referrals.
As a result of our excellent partnerships with a wide range of activity providers we are able to book activities and venues directly. Our Client Coordinators handle these bookings, saving you the tasks. We will often pay for these activities directly and then add these fees at cost price to monthly invoices.
At referral stage we will enquire about your desired frequency of reports and will ensure that you receive appropriate feedback reports and that these accurate and clear reports are provide on time.
We understand that budgeting is an essential part of each client’s rehabilitation and we will issue pre-treatment costings and monthly invoices. We will also inform you if we are suggesting any changes in pre-arranged budgets and not proceed without approval.

Frequently asked questions
Neurological treatments focus on rehabilitation for conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord and nervous system. At Physio Matters, specialist neurological physio is delivered by an experienced neuro physiotherapist to help improve movement, balance, coordination and everyday function following neurological illness or injury.
Our neurological physio service supports people living with conditions such as stroke, acquired brain injury, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, spinal cord injury and other neurological disorders. Treatment is provided by a qualified neurological physiotherapist with experience in complex rehabilitation.
Neurological physio is highly specialised and focuses on how the nervous system controls movement. A neuro physiotherapist uses specific rehabilitation techniques to retrain movement patterns, manage symptoms such as weakness or spasticity and support long-term independence, rather than treating isolated injuries.
Neurological rehabilitation begins with a detailed assessment by your neurological physiotherapist. Treatment may include gait re-education, balance and coordination training, upper limb rehabilitation, strengthening, functional task practice and strategies to prevent further decline. All neuro physio programmes are tailored to your goals and stage of recovery.
Yes. Neurological physio can be highly beneficial for both short-term recovery and long-term neurological conditions. Your neuro physiotherapist can support ongoing symptom management, maintain function and help prevent secondary complications such as stiffness, pain or loss of mobility.
Neurological treatment sessions can take place at our clinic in Royton or in community settings such as your home. Your neurological physiotherapist will recommend the most appropriate environment to support safe and effective neuro physio rehabilitation.
The frequency of neurological physio sessions depends on your condition, goals and response to treatment. Your neuro physiotherapist will create a flexible rehabilitation plan and review it regularly as your needs change.
Yes. A key part of neurological physio is prevention. Your neurological physiotherapist will address posture, movement strategies, strength and fatigue management to help reduce the risk of falls, pain and further loss of function.
No referral is required. You can self-refer directly to Physio Matters for neurological physio. With your consent, your neuro physiotherapist can also liaise with your GP, consultant or wider healthcare team.
Your care will be delivered by a specialist neuro physiotherapist with extensive experience in neurological physio and rehabilitation. At Physio Matters, we prioritise continuity of care, so you’ll work with a clinician who understands your condition and goals and most importantly, understands you and your needs.
