Physio Matters was delighted to host another fantastic evening of fun, fundraising and friendly competition at Quizzio Matters held at The Abel Heywood in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.

Following the success of our first event, the second instalment brought together an even bigger crowd of enthusiastic quizzers, all eager to test their knowledge while supporting an important cause. The atmosphere was lively throughout the evening, with teams competing across a range of rounds, all in pursuit of points, prizes—and of course, plenty of pies.

Supporting Day One Trauma Support

We are incredibly proud to share that the evening raised a total of £831 through ticket sales and raffle prizes. All proceeds will go to Day One Trauma Support, a charity dedicated to providing practical and emotional support to people affected by major trauma. The generosity shown by attendees, alongside the contributions from our raffle donors and supporters, is a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when a community comes together.

A Great Night at The Abel Heywood

A special thank you goes to the team at The Abel Heywood, who ensured the evening ran smoothly from start to finish. Guests enjoyed excellent hospitality, including generous portions of their now-legendary pies and seamless table service—fuelling both brains and banter throughout the quiz.

Looking Ahead

With two successful events now under our belt, we are excited to announce that planning is already underway for the next Quizzio Matters event, which we expect to return in November 2026. We look forward to building on this momentum and welcoming both familiar faces and new teams to join us once again.
